July Fly on The Wall

Welcome to a Fly on the Wall group post. Today 12 bloggers are inviting you to catch a glimpse of what you’d see if you were a fly on the wall in our homes. Come on in and buzz around my house.

Monday started out GREAT when this beauty showed up in the mail thanks to one of my friends on my blog page.  I mentioned going to numerous stores in town and finding nothing.  So she mailed me her's.  <squee!>  I love it and have used it several times now working on my belly dancing.  :)

The husband and I decided to attend the Dallas Comic Con.  It isn't till October 4-6 but I'm working on what to wear now. After pricing all the pieces I decided to check my closet.  This was the first thing I pulled out.  I had not realized how very western my closet was.  I do believe Miss Kitty resides in there.
Different top, still not sure.  Added a 9" Kabar knife, I'll need a dummy one for the convention of course.  And it might take till October to sew and rivet on all the gears and doodads I want.

Just 21 of the 100 gears I have and 4 watch faces.  The chain will hold a watch fob that will attach to the bottom of the other sides.  (This is just one panel.)  <sigh>

One of those moment you catch on the camera and know you'll cherish forever.

It was almost cool today with clouds overhead for most of it.  So the kids FINALLY went outside to play.  But no sooner did they start jumping on the trampoline did it start to rain.  At first they continued to jump, but when the first thunder clap hit they ran.  :)

Mercy with her jar hoping to catch lizards as I cut the squash and zucchini down.

I decided to keep a few plants, but not many.  Not only am I tired of them, no matter how we cook or fry them, but I also want to give the cucumbers and bell peppers another chance.  <fingers crossed>
Five big bags of squash ready to freeze.  This way we don't have to feel guilty for tossing them in the composter when they go bad in the fridge.  Seriously, no more squash and zucchini recipes.  I've had my fill.  ;)

*Oh and in case y'all were wondering what we're going as in October... I'm going as Lady Mechanika... the coolest new comic book character!  And Tommy's trying to decide between Darkman and The Shadow.
